Da Loonius 1 hails from the Bronx, NY. "My music is from my Soul". Producing music since '93, he got his first taste of the stage with former freestyle rapper "Flip Solo" from Alter Ego. Da Loonius 1 went behind the curtain producing tracks for clubs and freestyle crews. He worked at HITS magazine in '98 to early 2000.
In 2000 Loonese Presents, released "The Demo EP", featuring five tracks of a trancy, dancy mix collaboration with C-Go.
In '05, continuing on, "Da Loonius 1" and Eric "Eianjay" Jones partnered up to form BeatAddictz Productionz.
In '06 "Da Loonius 1" decided to produce his first instrumental cd, "The Loonese Begins" targeting commercials and soundtracks, scoring music for California State Northridge's Educational Software Introduction (Saving Our Souls). He also landed his 1st voice-over for DREMak Studios.
In '07 "Da Loonius 1" took an unexpected return to the booth collaborating with TMB on her song "Stay and Play".
In '08 Loonese scored music for "Hand the Ball", a short film made by students at Cleveland High Schools Media Academy and shown at the Laemelle Film Festival. "I am always happy to contribute to positivity." Loonese supplied the soundtrack to "The Solution", a film by the Village Nation at Cleveland High School, featuring past and present work.
Loonese incorporates all music of all genres as "The world is not all about one sound." Loonese produces all types of music: Hip-Hop, R&B, Dance and scores for film and commercials, "which actually was a dream of mine since the 80's when I started honing my craft." While working on 'RISE FROM THE RUBBLE', "My 1st album with my vocals on it, comes from a very personal and honest place."
