Raised in a family hungry for music, BlinkyD'Genius has always had love for music. He grew up listening to everything from Heavy Metal to Disco crediting his Uncle Kiu and his dad for the daily concert playing on T.V.
In middle school BkinkyD'Genius was introduced to Hip Hop and Rap through word of mouth and the radio. He quickly became hooked on the loud 808 sounds and crazy samples used to create the new music he was listening to. After graduating from high school, BlinkyD'Genius began experimenting with DJ software and started making remixes. He quickly fell in love with the mixing and production aspects of music.
In 2007, BlinkyD'Genius decided it was time to take it to the next level so he bought some studio equipment and set up a small home studio. Genius Tracks Productions was born. While taking a Pro Tools class at Mission College, BlinkyD'Genius met Da Loonius 1. Soon after, they started working together in various class projects. It didn't take long before a good friendship was established, and the rest is history in the making.
